The Nehoa Story
From the Road to Nehoa
Nehoa started with one clear goal: to make selling a luxury watch simple, worry-free, and fair — while helping people get what their watch is truly worth.
We’re Marco Bonfanti and Zachary Canning, and together, we are Nehoa.
Where It All Started
A few years ago, we found ourselves on the road — traveling across the country, stopping at pawn shops, jewelry stores, and meeting directly with the public to buy timepieces. Along the way, we kept hearing the same story over and over again.
People were frustrated.
They knew their watches were valuable, but the offers they were receiving were consistently low. The only way to try for a better price was to sell privately — a process that takes time, involves risk, and often leads to more stress than success. Many tried, few were satisfied, and most walked away feeling burned out or disappointed.
Working closely with pawn shops and retail stores made one thing very clear: it wasn’t bad intentions — it was a broken system. Most shops simply don’t have the network or buyers to place a high-end watch quickly, which forces them to offer far below market value just to protect themselves.
That realization changed everything.
The Moment It Clicked
Between Zach’s background in client relationships and sales, and Marco’s years of hands-on experience in the luxury watch industry, we saw a better way forward.
Instead of lowballing sellers or relying on limited local demand, we built a network of serious buyers actively looking for luxury timepieces. That network allows us to pay real market value — without asking sellers to take on risk, delays, or uncertainty.
The idea was simple:
Top-dollar offers, honest communication, and none of the usual hassle.
Nehoa was born from that moment.
How We Work
We specialize in buying both modern and vintage luxury watches, including:
Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Vacheron Constantin, Richard Mille — and everything in between.
Whether you’re selling your first watch or letting go of part of a collection, we make the process smooth, transparent, and straightforward. No pressure. No confusion. Just clear answers and fair offers.
Today, we work with private sellers, collectors, and jewelers across the country — many of whom come back again and again. Why?
Because we move quickly, communicate clearly, and do exactly what we say we’ll do. Plain and simple.
Why People Trust Nehoa
If you’ve read our reviews, you’ll probably notice the same words pop up:
“Top quality.” “Fast communication.” “Kept his word.”
That’s not by accident.
We treat people the way we’d want to be treated. We keep things simple. And once a deal is done, we don’t disappear.
Nehoa was built to be the buyer we wished existed when we first got into watches — honest, responsive, and willing to pay what a watch is actually worth.
So whether you’re just beginning your watch journey or ready to part with a piece you’ve worn and loved, we hope you feel comfortable reaching out.
You’re in good hands here.

Marco Bonfanti
Marco Bonfanti didn’t get into watches because of hype or trends — it started with a genuine curiosity about how things work and why certain timepieces hold meaning for the people who own them. What began as an interest in craftsmanship and mechanical detail slowly turned into a career built around helping people make confident decisions with watches that often carry both financial and personal value.
Over the past 10+ years, Marco has worked hands-on with thousands of luxury watches, spending most of his time focused on modern Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Audemars Piguet models. Just as important as knowing the watches themselves, Marco learned early on that people want clarity, honesty, and respect when they’re selling something valuable — especially if it’s their first time.
Friends and clients often describe Marco as calm, straightforward, and easy to talk to. He takes pride in explaining things clearly, answering questions without pressure, and making sure clients understand their options before making a decision. If a watch isn’t the right fit or the timing isn’t right, he’ll say so — no pushy sales tactics, no uncomfortable conversations.
Now based in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Marco founded Nehoa to reflect the way he believes business should be done: personal, transparent, and relationship-driven. Whether someone is selling a single watch or an entire collection, his goal is the same — to make the experience smooth, fair, and even enjoyable.
When you reach out to Nehoa, you’re not handed off to a call center or automated system. You’re talking directly with someone who genuinely cares about the process and the outcome.
Zach Canning
Zach Canning brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to the luxury watch world, with a strong focus on helping people feel comfortable and informed throughout the buying or selling process. He understands that behind every watch is a story — sometimes an investment, sometimes a milestone, and often something deeply personal.
Zach has spent years working closely with high-end timepieces and the collectors who own them, developing a sharp eye for condition, value, and authenticity. He’s especially passionate about modern luxury watches and enjoys digging into the small details that make each piece unique. More than anything, he enjoys talking with people, answering questions, and helping them understand what their watch is truly worth.
Clients often describe Zach as approachable, patient, and easy to work with. He takes the time to listen, explain options clearly, and never rush a decision. Whether someone is selling their first luxury watch or has been collecting for years, Zach makes sure the experience feels relaxed, respectful, and transparent.
At Nehoa, Zach works side by side with Marco to ensure every client receives personal attention and honest guidance. Together, they’ve built a process that feels less like a transaction and more like a conversation — one rooted in trust, fairness, and long-term relationships.
When you reach out to Nehoa, there’s a good chance you’ll be talking directly with Zach — someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in doing things the right way.
